This is a rather large video of a great ride along the High Peak Trail on a glorious sunny day. I was armed with my GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition and I managed to capture some of the highlights along the way. We started at the High Peak Junction and cycled to the northern end and then back. The best bit by far was the downhill section at the end from Middleton Top to the Cromford Canal… Enjoy 🙂
I enjoyed your trip, thanks for posting.
I went for a picnic at Black rocks with my Mum and Dad, I remember watching a train pulling wagons along, that would be about 1965. An age ago in another world. As an aside, one of the hardest rock climbs in Britain is on the Black Rocks.

Thanks for taking the time to comment Malcolm. It would have been great to see the railway working in its heyday, to see the carriages being pulled up to Middleton top.

Hi Dean, stumbled across your you tube channel a couple of days ago whilst researching some places to visit over Easter as we will be in the Peak District (staying in Glossop). Cannot stop watching your excellent videos and particularly enjoyed this one although the Bushcraft Forest videos are magical. You are one lucky guy to have this on your doorstep!
