This episode of the podcast features a classic Peak District route starting from Barber Booth. From the car park at Barber Booth I headed for Upper Booth and then up Jacob’s Ladder. I headed in to the clouds to the trig point at Kinder Low before navigating off to the official summit. After picking my way through the bog to the summit at 636 metres I headed to Pym Chair for lunch. I passed Crowden, Grindsbrook and then Upper Tor before heading down to Edale via Ringing Roger. I spotted the Moors for the Future Helicopter lifting supplies while I was crossing the fields back to Barber Booth. You can find the blog post at Peak District Walk – Kinder Scout – Jacob’s Ladder & The Official Summit.
