GPX Routes

I’m currently in the process of uploading files to a new download manager, if you wish to request a particular file for any of the routes you have seen on the site then please don’t hesitate to Contact Me.

Here you will find a list of GPX files for some great Walking & Cycling Routes in the Peak District & Derbyshire that are featured on PeakRoutes.com.

I recorded or plotted these files using the ViewRanger app on my iPhone, I would highly recommend the app if you need a way of displaying the files. check out my ViewRanger Review on my personal website DeanRead.net, alternatively you could head to the ViewRanger Website to find out how you can download it for your device.

Disclaimer…. GPX files are a great resource but I would strongly advise taking a map & compass too and that you make sure you are able to navigate with them competently… Ok, that’s the admin part out of the way. I hope you enjoy the routes and that they take you on some great adventures 🙂

  1. Hi

I have a hobby-site for walks around the Goyt valley near Buxton: http://www.goyt-valley.org.uk

A few people have asked me whether I can provide GPX files – but I wouldn’t know where to start.

I came across your site and wondered if you might be able to help in any way.

    Best wishes

    1. Hi David, I’ve just updated this page with more info which might be helpful for you too. I’d highly recommend an app called Viewranger which you can use to record or plot GPX files. You could then send them to people who request them from the app via Dropbox. Check out the Viewranger website and let me know if you need more info. Dean

  2. I have wayched a few of your vids after stumbling across them looking for Peak District walks.
Have wanted to visit the B29 wreckage for years and pay my respects.
I had hoped to find the GPX file here for the route you did and make up a brew in the Bothy.
Alas no file as of yet, hope to get an early start in the morning but hope the file goes up soon.
    Really like your Videos.
    Best Regards,
    James
